ENVIRONMENTAL AUDITS

• A due diligence assessment (Environmental Audit) involves evaluating and reporting certain lands that an oil & gas company maybe interested in acquiring. This will enable companies to decide if there is more liability in acquiring the lands.
• All tracking systems must be effective and capable of displaying due diligence.

This process involves:
• A review of well files associated with the location or site.
• An Alberta Energy & Utilities Board release and complaint search (Spill Search).
• A G50 Database Drilling Waste Disposal Search
• An Environmental Enforcement Search
• An Air Photo Review
• Interviews with personnel (Landowners)
• A Field Visit or Site Inspection
