Codeco is recognized as an industry leader in providing both engineering solutions and project management services to the upstream oil and gas sector. The company provides an experienced staff of individuals who are qualified to work with the client through each phase of the operation from lease acquisition, surveying, construction, securing government approvals, drilling, completion to equipping and tie-in of the well. All of Codeco Consulting’s Wellsite Supervisor’s are IRP-7 compliant. They are experts in their field and are responsible for coordinating all services at the wellsite. Our top level Supervisors have many years on the job and are dependable, knowledgeable veterans of the oilpatch. Our entry level Supervisors are experienced personnel who have worked their way up through the ranks on drilling or service rigs, and are looking for a more challenging and rewarding career. IRP-7 establishes minimum competency standards for wellsite supervisors. It recommends that supervisors complete a full suite of industry designated courses every 3 to 5 years. “It’s a very positive step in ensuring that we maintain highly qualified personnel at the wellsite,” says Vice President of Operations, Blake Walliser. “It’s paramount from a safety point of view as well as providing our clients with a comfort level from an operations stance. These recommendations only serve to reinforce what has been part of our corporate philosophy regarding quality people all along.” |
